Borderlands 3 – How to get Fearmonger
Fearmonger – Weapon Description
The Fearmonger is a shotgun of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. This shotgun arrived in the game as a part of the Bloody Harvest event which the Halloween themed event in Borderlands 3. Gearbox had already teased the appearance of this weapon a couple of times and we were all pretty excited to see how this legendary performs.
The Fearmonger is a fairly decent shotgun. Maybe not one of the best but it is definitely worth picking up. So what is so special about the Fearmonger? Well, the bullets that come out of this weapon explode after a shot duration. So you are doing double the base damage. If you manage to get an Anointed one then it gets even better as when you are terrified, the weapon has a chance to fire an extra projectile per shot.
Lets take a look at the description of the Fearmonger. The one shown here is the Subsidized Powerhouse Fearmonger (Level 50).

Where to find the Fearmonger
Let me start by saying that the Fearmonger does not have any specific drop source. With that being said there are plenty ways of getting the Fearmonger.
Loot Ghosts
Loots Ghosts have a very high chance of dropping the Fearmonger. If you don’t know what Loot Ghosts really are, then let me tell you they look just like the other ghosts that spawn after eliminating haunted enemies, except they are yellow or orange in color.
If you want to farm Loot Ghosts then you should head over to Heck Hole which is where you will find Captain Haunt. You can also try farming at Voracious Canopy or Jakobs Estate at Eden-6. You will find plenty there.
Captain Haunt
Considering that Captain Haunt is the new boss of the Bloody Harvest event. He will be dropping ghost weapons left and right. So you should really consider farming Captain Haunt as many times as you can before the drop rates get nerfed.
