Septimator Prime – Description

Septimator Prime is a Sniper Rifle of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. The weapon is a part of the fourth DLC called Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck. And is one of the less powerful weapons that this dlc has to offer.

Septimator Prime looks a lot like the Lyuda and more or less functions in the same manner. The special ability of this weapon is that shots fired from this gun will occasionally cause meteors to fall from the sky, landing on or near enemies. But these meteors are extremely inaccurate and most of time ends up missing the targets. Another problem is that the Septimator Prime will always be Fire or Incendiary elemental only. This weapon does come with an under-barrel shotgun or an under-barrel RPG.

Despite the fact that this weapon has decent damage output, I don’t see a reason of using this over the Lyuda. But you can always farm one for the collection.

How to get the Septimator Prime (Drop Location)

Septimator Prime drops from Evil Mordecai on Castle Crimson in Krieg’s Mind. You obviously need to start the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC in order to get access to the mentioned locations. Here is the exact location of Evil Mordecai:

Just spawn at Castle Crimson – The Walls and walk over to the location shown above. You will actually find two bosses on that location, Evil Mordecai and Evil Brick. You can eliminate both, but Mordecai is the one who drops the weapon.

Regarding the drop rate of Septimator Prime, this weapon doesn’t seem that rare. I have already managed to get the drop twice in just 10 runs. I was farming at Mayhem 10 on Normal Mode.
