Borderlands 3 (BL3) – How to get Robin’s Call

Robin’s Call – Drop Location

The Robin’s Call drops from Garriden Loch on Ashfall Peaks – Caldera Stronghold at Gehenna. You obviously need to start the Bounty of Blood DLC in order to get access to the mentioned locations. Here is the exact location of Garriden Loch :

The Robin’s Call also drops from Lani Dixon on Ashfall Peaks – Caldera Stronghold at Gehenna. This is where I got my second Robin’s Call while I was farming for the Complex Root. Here is the exact location of Lani Dixon :

Both of these mini bosses are very easy to farm. None of these two have shields on them. So as long as you have a decent build and weapons, you should be good.

The drop rate of Robin’s Call is also good as well. You should have no trouble farming multiples in just few runs. I was farming at Mayhem 6  difficulty and I got 2 easily.

Robin’s Call – Weapon Stats and Description

Lets take a look at the weapon stats of Robin’s Call. The one shown here is the Dastardly Robin’s Call (Level 60):

  • Manufacturer : Jakobs
  • Damage : 2474×12
  • Accuracy : 52%
  • Handling : 69%
  • Reload Time : 2.4s
  • Fire Rate : 5.66/s
  • Magazine Size : 12
  • Red Text : Are you not he?

Rabin’s Call is a Shotgun of the Legendary or Orange rarity in Borderlands 3. The weapon is a part of the third DLC called Bounty of Blood. And is probably one of the better Legendary weapons that this DLC has to offer.

This is a Call weapon and if you have played the game enough then you should know that the specialty of Call weapons is upon critical hits you get 1 bullet back to your magazine and 1 bullet ricochets at the nearby enemy.

Therefore, just like Lucian’s Call or Queen’s/King’s Call, critical hits with the Robin’s Call return 1 bullet back to the magazine. The prefix I got shoots 12 pellets per shot. So I was getting 12 shots back to the magazine with the single critical hit. Basically, you will never run out of ammo as long as you are getting critical hits.

The damage on the Robin’s Call is extremely high and you can use this against normal enemies as well as bosses. A good Fade Away build is all you need on your Fl4k and you will find yourself clearing rooms with a blink of an eye.

Here is a video where I am testing the Robin’s Call at Mayhem 6 difficulty. You can see how powerful it is:

That’s all folks!
