It is always recommended to run a game on a medium end gaming rig if you want to find out the best combination of graphics settings for the game. There is no point in running benchmarks on gaming rigs with high or enthusiast level graphics cards. Because lets be honest, every single game will run smoothly on a RTX 2080 ti or a RX 5800 XT.

Since the cost of Blighbound is fairly cheap, a lot of people might decide to try the game. Now, not all of them are sitting with a high-end rig. That is the reason why we tested the game on a very basic and mediocre gaming PC.

Benchmark Test Results

Tool used : MSI Afterburner

Minimum FPS Average FPS Maximum FPS
38 FPS 52 FPS 74 FPS

Blightbound is one of those games that completely surprised us. Looking at the game you would expect that the game is really light. But it is not. The game ran horribly on our system. We were experiencing a lot of frame drops. Now, the problem can be related to the hardware on our gaming rig.

So we will be testing this on our high-end rig that has a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB of RAM and a RTX 2070 Super.

That’s all folks!
