This guide will show you where your Biomutant save files and config or configuration files are located on your PC.
Biomutant – Save and Config file location
Biomutant save location
The location of all the Biomutant save game files is :ย C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Local\Biomutant\Saved\SaveGames
The number of files depends on the number of your saves in the game.
Biomutant config file location
The straightforward location of all the Biomutant config files is : C:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Local\Biomutant\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
The configuration file is called โGameUserSettingsโ and it is a .ini file. You can edit this file with Notepad or any other text editor application. If you didnโt know, this is the file that you actually have to edit in order to unlock or uncap your fps in Biomutant.
And you can edit the “Engine.ini” file to Disable Motion Blur in the game.
Uncap FPS
Head down to the line that says: โFrameRateLimit=0.000000โ
Then change the โ0.000000โ to your desired amount. For example:
- โFrameRateLimit=144โ
- โFrameRateLimit=244โ
You will successfully uncap your frame rate in Biomutant.
Disable Motion Blur
Open Engine.ini and add:
[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlur.Max=0
You will successfully disable motion blur in Biomutant.
How to find the AppData folder
If the AppData folder is hidden for you, here is how to make it visible:
- Open any folder on your PC. It can be a new folder or an existing folder.
- Click on the View option at the top of the folder window
- There you will find a setting called โHidden itemsโ
- Check the box beside it
Now you can go back to C:\Users\Your username. And there you will find the AppData folder.
