Modern Warfare 2 is finally out, and COD fans from all over the world, have been playing the game nonstop. I fall into the same category, actually. I have already put in 50 hours in the game.
The more you level up in a game, you’re bound to get rewards or stuff in general. Similar is the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The more you level up, the more weapons/attachments you’re going to unlock. Which will get you the upper hand when in combat against other players.
There are some ways using which you could level up quicker than you normally would, so here they are:
Best way to Level up Fast in COD MW2
First things first, the most obvious way to rank up is just to keep on playing, that being said, there are other ways you could make the most out of the time you play.
While in-game, more XP/points basically mean either getting more eliminations or completing the objectives, or both.
Personally, I like to sit at the highest positions possible on a map while playing ground war and engaging in long-range battles, which tends to get you more killstreaks.
Moreover, there are other game modes where you can score some extra points for experience than other modes.
These include Search and Destroy, Domination, Ground-war or any other game mode that includes killing as well as objectives.
Now that we’ve cleared the game modes up, another way to earn some extra XP is to complete challenges. There are mainly three types, daily, Bonus, and Special challenges. That you could do to earn some extra XP.
The daily, as the name suggests, gets updated every 24 hours, and the Bonus challenges get unlocked once you complete all 3 of those daily challenges. Upon completion of these, you’ll get a good chunk of XP that’ll help you jump levels.
If you’re looking to level weapons up, just keep getting more eliminations and killstreaks with the weapon you’re looking to level up. This also unlocks a number of attachments for the weapon, enabling you to customize the weapon as you please.
You can carry a maximum of two primary weapons, considering you’ve equipped the Overkill perk. This means you could level up multiple weapons in one single game, considering you keep switching between them.
And lastly, there are XP tokens, be it for weapons or in-game levels (the two types there are). It’s pretty tough to get your hands on one, we’d say.
That’s pretty much everything you can do to level up quickly in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022).
