Best Way to EV Train Fast in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Released on the 18th of November, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is a hype among the players.

Available exclusively on Nintendo Switch, the game features an open world. The game allows you to EV train your Pokemons, and it would be rather impossible for you to overestimate the role that EV Training plays in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

This feature enables you to train your Pokemon to be more powerful, which is a must, not just for the experienced players out there but is the same for beginners too.

Hence, the following guide deals with how you can EV train and the best way to do so in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

What is EV Training in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

EV stands for Effort Value and are those hidden points that would determine the progress of any specific stat of the pokemon you want to train. Check out the screenshot below:

As you can see from the picture, my Level 20 Charmeleon is more inclined toward Speed. But what if I want to EV train it for more Attack and HP? Keep reading to get a clear picture.

For any one stat, the number of EVs you can get is 225; there can be a total of 510 of these. We, therefore, recommend that you focus on just two stats of your Pokemon.

For example, if you want to make your Pokemon great at attacking, then focus on Attack and Speed. Whereas, if you want to make them a tank, focus on Defense and Special Defense.

Easily put, the more that you keep on playing the game, the faster you are bound to develop EVs of the Pokemons on your army. However, with the correct tips and tricks, you can easily increase the development of any EV of your choice, that too in just a day!

Let’s get on with the first one, losing no time.

Using Vitamins is the Fastest way to EV Train

Using even a single vitamin can increase EVs by 10. 26 vitamins can be used to make your Pokemon’s stats reach their maximum.

Check out the list below to know about the vitamin and the stat it helps increase:

  1. HP Up – Health Points
  2. Iron – Defense
  3. Protein – Attack
  4. Zinc – Special Defense
  5. Calcium – Special Attack
  6. Carbos – Speed

This means, if you have enough money, then you can just buy 26+26 units of 2 different Vitamins and give it to your Pokemon. That is the easiest way to Max out its EV.

Of course, that is going to cost you, 520000 Poke Dollars. Each of these Vitamins costs 10,000 Poke Dollars, and you can get them easily from any Chansey Supply.

This is the method that I personally used, and you can do it too. All you have to do is go to Asado Desert and scourge for Sparkling Items on the ground.
