Ballistic Legend is a new Hero introduced in Apex Legends Season 17.
Skills and Abilities of Ballistic Legend
From the looks of Ballistic, it seems to be an older-age legend, and by far, it’s probably one of the best. The abilities of Ballistic are such that it makes him perfect for players who seek a fast approach in their gameplay. This is owing to the fact that Ballistic proves to be an aggressive player. Whistler, Tempest and Sling are his three unique abilities. As per the official EA website, the following is the description of each of these abilities:
- Tactical – Whistler: It will shoot at the enemy’s gun, a projectile that will heat their gun. In turn, as the overheating will increase, it will cause damage. You can do this by holding the tactical button and locking it on your enemy.
- Passive – Sling: This will allow you to store a 3rd weapon in the sling. Although this 3rd weapon cannot have any attachments, it will be available to you through the character utility action button or inventory.
- Ultimate – Tempest: All your teammates near you will get infinite ammo, quicker move speed, and increased reload speed. This ability will take Ballistic’s passive skill (Sling weapon) and upgrade it to Gold.
How to play Ballistic
These skills are top-tier. Ballistic isn’t a character that has aggressive gameplay with a hard-hitting gunslinger, but he is also a character that would prove to be the perfect teammate. This is due to his Ultimate ability. A team who has ballistic with them will move quickly, get an increased amount and even reload faster, ultimately making a team that is quite difficult to defeat.
Whenever you are your team are planning to push an opponent team or engage in a third party, make sure that you pop your Ballistic’s Ultimate before you rush towards the fight. Doing this will highly increase your chances of winning, as many a time, we often end up losing fights because in Apex Legends you burn your ammo extremely fast, especially in SMGs. Having unlimited ammo and fast reload could prove to be a lifesaver in those situations.
Do you know what I do? I try to carry a Devotion almost every time with my Ballistic. You will be surprised to see how many 1v1s you can win with a Devotion paired with Ballistic’s Ultimate.
