Back 4 Blood Save and Config File Location

Back 4 Blood Save and Config file location – This guide will help you locate your Back 4 Blood Save and Config (or Configuration) file location in the PC where you have installed your game.

Back 4 Blood Save and Config File Location

Turtle Rock Studios’s Back 4 Blood is one of those games in 2021 that zombie shooter fans have been waiting for. Two of the most common technical items that one might need to look at while playing the game are Save and Configuration files. However, finding these files is not an easy task and one has to have a good knowledge of navigating PC drives to locate them.

The good news is that we have already done the hard work for you. Just go through the below-mentioned steps, and you will easily be able to locate your Config and Save files.

Back 4 Blood Save File Location

In order to locate the Back 4 Blood Save files, navigate your PC using the following steps:

  2. Within C drive, double-click on ‘Users’

It is a hidden folder and for that you need to unhide it first before you proceed any further. In order to unhide the folder, you will have to check a box at the top that says ‘Hidden Items’ in the ‘View’ tab)
  5. Then double-click on the folder that says ‘Local’
  6. Within ‘Local’ go to ‘Back 4 Blood’
  7. Then double-click on ‘Saved’
  8. Finally, double-click on ‘Saved Games’ to locate the Save files

Here’s a snapshot of where you need to go. Please note that the user ID has been deliberately erased. You will see your own user ID here.

Back 4 Blood - Config File Location

Alternatively, as a faster process, just copy this path and paste in your local URL bar:

C:\Users\<Your User ID>\AppData\Local\Back4Blood\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Where you need to paste the path is the same as mentioned above for Save file location.

The default format of the Config file is .ini. But for some reason, if there is a need for you to edit the file, then you can do that by opening it with Notepad or Wordpad.

Note: Although the Config file is editable, we strongly suggest that you don’t try to edit it, unless of course you are familiar with the Config file coding and are absolutely confident that whatever changes you do will not cause the game to break.
