The Packet loss icon appears when data packets that are used to track events in the game are sent from the game server to the game client and vice versa are lost during the transmission due to connectivity issues. The server is unable to give the game client the full information from the server regarding the events and the game clients have to make predictions to keep up during the error, but that doesn’t solve the problem much.
