Forspoken has finally been released and is available now on PC and PlayStation 5. If you are someone who wants to enjoy the game in their own way, and also because the game does not have any difficulty trophies, you will be needing help to figure out the difficulty settings that you will need to pick. This is due to the fact that choosing your difficulty setting is the first thing that you are supposed to choose in the game, and also because the game’s difficulty options are very confusing and vague.
Which difficulty option to pick in Forspoken
Let me start by saying that Forspoken game does not contain the usual “easy, normal, or hard” options, and hence selecting the settings can be a little difficult for you. The options that you have are: Focus on the game, which is the easy mode. Explore the Open World, which is normal, and last, Take Part in Challenging Battles, which is the hard mode.
- Focus on the Story: This is recommended for those who want to sit back and enjoy the game’s narrative unfold and enjoy it. You can take care of the enemies very easily and there is no challenge.
- Explore the Open World: This is recommended for those who love an open-world game and would want to explore each and every corner of this one too. The enemies, in this case, provide a bit of challenge. But nothing you can’t beat.
- Take Part in Challenging Battles: This is recommended for those who are action game enthusiasts. Default is recommended for those who want a balance of all the elements of the gameplay.
As the options are pretty vague, your safest bet is to pick one of the options that appeals to you the most and then, later in the settings, fine-tune it. I personally recommend going with the “Explore the Open World” difficulty.
How to change Difficulty in Forspoken
If you are still confused about what to select, just pick one to begin with. You can change the difficulty settings between easy, normal, and hard anytime you want once you begin the gameplay.
If you want to set the levels by yourself, then you need to head to settings and then to the Gameplay Balance tab. Here, you can set settings according to your wish, like the damage you take from enemies and much more.
In the settings, you will see that once you have selected or changed the difficulty level from easy, normal, or hard, thereon, the options become more granulated and thus allows you to customize your experience however you like.
That is all there is to know about all Forspoken difficulty settings and which one to pick.
