Sekiro Shadows Die Twice Performance Guide – Fix Lag, FPS Drops, Bugs and Stuttering

About the game

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a third-person action-adventure video game title by Activision. The release date of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is March 22, 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a game based upon the story of a shinobi called Sekiro who is also known as the “one-armed wolf”, a disgraced and disfigured warrior rescued from the brink of death. Sekiro is bound to protect the descendant of an ancient bloodline, who also happens to be his Lord. The game is based during the Sengoku period and the players have to fight many vicious enemies, including the ruthless Ashina Clan. The main objective of Sekiro is to take revenge on a samurai who attacked him and kidnapped his Lord and he will stop at nothing.

Since its announcement Sekiro Shadows Die Twice has been constantly compared with the Dark Souls titles but this game is nothing like the Souls series. This game is not a RPG title. It does not feature any kind of character creation, equipment upgrades, classes, or multiplayer elements. Even the combat system and mechanics of Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is completely different from the combat system of Dark Souls.

This game features stealth elements, which means players can instantly execute enemies if they can manage to get behind them undetected. This game also features the ability to use various tools that can assist players with combat and exploration, such as a grappling hook and a torch. If the player character dies, they have the option of being revived on the spot under certain conditions instead of respawning at earlier checkpoints.

Activision has always been known for publishing well-optimised titles and their games are known to perform well on almost all kinds of systems. Same is the case with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The title runs well even on low end gaming PCs and there aren’t many bugs to tackle as well. But if you visit the Steam Community, you can still find players complaining about lag, fps drops, stuttering while playing and they are all legit issues. Lag is what every gamer in this world is afraid of and looks like it has managed to affect this game as well. Here is how to fix lag, fps drops, bugs and stuttering in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice:
