Let us be honest and agree to the fact that we all get very excited every time Nvidia launches their new line up of graphics cards and there is no shame in that because Nvidia is famous for bringing new innovations every time they release graphics cards with a new architecture. And this time it is the Volta architecture. Now many of you might have already heard about Volta as there is already a graphics card based on the Volta architecture in the market. That is the Nvidia Titan V and it is one beast of a graphics card. But not everyone can afford a Titan V or even if they can, not everyone is ready to spend such a huge amount on a graphics card. So we are all waiting for the low-end and the mid-end Volta based graphics cards which are suppose to launch in 2018. Yes, you heard me right. Nvidia has already hinted the Nvidia Volta Graphics Cards (GPUs) release date, which is Q1 of 2018. The new Volta based graphics cards are suppose to come around April 2018, so expect a GTX 2080, a GTX 2070, a GTX 2060 and so on. Even though the names are not confirmed and these are just speculations. With that said, here is what we know so far about the Volta based GPUs :
Nvidia Volta Graphics Cards (GPUs) release date
1. TSMC’s 12nm FinFET design and the full GV100 GPU has 5,376 CUDA cores.
2. Costlier than the Pascal Series GPUs
3. 2x more powerful than the Pascal Series Graphics Cards.
4. Better compatibility with DirectX 12 and Vulkan.

Get on the hype train and prepare yourself for Volta because the Titan V surely blew us away with it’s beastly performance. This year is going to be one heck of an exciting year for gamers and Nvidia is surely going to play a major role in it.
Thats all folks!
