No Sound Or Audio Bug In Division 2 – How To Fix

We are not alien to the fact that bugs, fps issues, lag and stuttering have almost become mandatory parts of every gaming title launch these days. Same is the case with Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

Players have been witnessing a lot of fps issues, bugs, glitches, lag and stuttering during their gameplay. This is hindering the overall experience and in the end these issues would only lead to a bad taste in the mouths of the players. Though it is possible to fix the lag and fps drops with the help of few tweaks here and there, their are certain bugs and glitches that cannot be fixed without proper knowledge.

Lately, players have been reporting a bug that is causing audio issues in The Division 2, leaving players with no sound at all. We can all agree that it is impossible to play a game without sound and this needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Even though Ubisoft has not released a permanent fix for this bug, their are certain methods players can try in order to fix the no sound or audio bug in The Division 2. Method #1

While you are in-game, press Alt+Tab to go out of the game and then press Alt+Tab again to go in. This has fixed the issue for a lot of users.

Method #2

[Note: This is for Logitech users]

  • Open Task Manager

  • Select Processes

  • Look for the process called “Logitech Surround Service” from the list

  • Right click on that process and select End Task

Method #3

[Note: This is for Logitech users]

  • Open Task Manager

  • Select Processes

  • Look for the process called “Logitech Gaming Software” from the list

  • Right click on that process and select End Task
  • Restart PC

Method #4

[Note : This is for Logitech G533 users]

Unplug the Logitech G533 Dongle from your computer and plug-it in again. This is a fix suggested in the community and seems to be working just fine

Method #5

[Note: This is a fix suggested by a community member called EL_SOLDADO_GER]

The fix he suggested involved changing your voice chat output device to your speakers. And he also mentioned that he is getting his in-game sounds on his headset and not from the speakers even after changing it.

Method #6

Close any sort of overclocking application that is running in the background. Applications like MSI Afterbuner, Zotac Firestorm etc.
