Intel i5 8400 vs AMD Ryzen 5 1600

AMD ruled majority of the year 2017 with it’s new lineup of processors popularly know as the Ryzen processors. Intel didn’t have an answer with it’s 6th and 7th gen processors as they were lagging behind quite a bit when it came to performance. But things changed at the end of 2017 when Intel launched their 8th generation processors. As the PC buffs all around the world started benchmarking the processors from the red and the blue team head to head, the differences in the performance became a lot visible. So we decided to pick the most popular processor at the moment from both a teams and make them go head to head against each other. This is an Intel i5 8400 vs AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ladies and gentlemen. Let the battle begin!

This pretty much wraps up the match up between the two processors and we could clearly see that the Intel i5 8400 is acing almost the whole benchmark. But we would still suggest you to wait until cheaper motherboards for the intel 8th gen processors arrive because the Z370 motherboards are costly and will increase the overall budget of your pc build. If you still want you can go ahead and buy the processor and save it for later because the are disappearing from the shelves pretty fast.

That’s all folks!
