Fortnite Battle Royale for Android Mobiles and Smartphones

Fortnite is coming to mobile devices! On phones and tablets, it is going to stay the same 100-player game we know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. The game play is going to be the same, the map is going to be the same, the content is going to be the same, you will get all the weekly updates like on other platforms. Starting Monday, sign-up will begin for the Invite Event on iOS. But there is one question many are asking. What about Fortnite Battle Royale for Android Mobiles and Smartphones?

In partnership with Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together. The same game on all platforms. Console quality graphics and action.

Though Fortnite is only releasing on iOS at the moment, it is going to hit the Android platform very soon. Support for Android will be coming in the next few months is what Epic said in their recent article. So we can expect Fortnite to hit the Android devices around Q2 2018.

How to get Fortnite on iOS or iPhone?

Starting Monday, March 12, sign-up at for the Invite Event on iOS. Email invites will start rolling out soon thereafter. When you are invited, you will receive an email with a link to download the game from the App Store. If you don’t receive an invite right away, don’t worry. They will be adding more players regularly over the coming months. Players who receive invites from Epic will also get friend invite codes to share with others.
